Nice To Meet You!

Some Backstory

I graduated in May 2021 with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Fresno State University. It was an extraordinary time to enter the job market, with the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite the circumstances, I secured a role as an Advisor/Web Support Associate at Microsoft, which relocated me to the heart of Silicon Valley. While at Microsoft, I found myself immersed in the daily grind of a 9-to-5, leaving little time for my true passions and aspirations. However, fate took an unexpected turn as I, along with my entire team, faced a recent layoff, a fate shared by thousands in the tech industry. This seemingly unfortunate event turned out to be a blessing in disguise. It reignited my passion for programming and cybersecurity, reminding me of my true calling!

Interests

“You are confined only by the walls you build yourself.” - Andrew Murphy

I have an insatiable curiosity that leads me to explore various types of food, take on challenges, and delve into new ideas. I'm a passionate fan of cheese and spicy cuisine. When I need to de-stress, I lace up my running shoes and hit the road for a few miles. Training for athletic events like marathons with my friends is something I genuinely enjoy when I'm away from my desk.

Every day presents a fresh opportunity to learn more and do more!

Aspirations

I'm deeply drawn to the fields of cybersecurity and programming, especially in recent times. The rising frequency of digital scams and threat vectors is both astonishing and alarming. This dynamic landscape fuels my ambition to enter the security industry and ultimately excel as a defender on the blue team.
